The LOMOND company is leader in production of self-adhesive materials

- A testing of CD/DVD labels held this June by slovak magazine "PC REVUE" showed up a leader in production of

self-adhesive materials - the LOMOND company.

The main competitive advantage of Lomond is flexibility and efficiency in answering market requirements.  The company

needs from one to three months to launch a new product, so new Lomond photopapers, for example, are on offer a year or one

and a half year earlier than analogous materials from the printer manufacturers. Neither of world brends has such a wide

line of different types of photopapers as the one produced by Lomond. Our clients always have choice: for every type of

paper made by printer manufacturers there is an analogous Lomond material. In addition many of Lomond papers (SuperGlossy

260 и 280 gsm, Satin 280 gsm, SemiGlossy 260 gsm, for example) are presently recognized as the best on world's market.

view of price/quality ratio, but also information about compatibility of its materials, free color (ICC) profiles for

every combination of paper-printer-ink, programm support, which simplifies printing of photographies - Lomond Home

PhotoLab. As of today, Lomond is the only manufacturer of consumable materials on the russian market, which can offer a

compex solution to many categories of clients: paper, cartridges (inks) and software - everything comes from a single

source and works perfectly in complex. In other words - the advantage justly considered as a speciality solely of printer

manufacturers products. Lately this was added by complex solutions for small business, connected with photoprinting and a

unique assortment of accessory for keeping and exposure of photo images (photoalbums, frames, etc)

Originally Lomond positioned itself as a company, which was converting production of factories, located in Japan, USA,

Switzerland, UK and other countries of EU. From consideration of economic expediency convertion was performed in places

close to sales areas.  (Russia, Ukraine and Slovakia). The company guarantees the quality of local covertion. However, the

sales growth led not only to expansion of local production, but also to a qualitive step forward of a segment of earned

value of this production. In this way in 2004 the production of self-adhesive Lomond materials was fully transfered to

Russia. In the end of 2006 the company started a new majot project of production of compatibe inkjet cartridges and inks.

Assemblage of cartridges is performed in Russia from the components and with technical support of one of the leaders of

world industry of consumable materials production. Inks for the new cartridges are also produced in Russia - under license

and technical monitoring of a famous chemical-engineering company. The total volume of investments in the development and

production of Lomond cartridges and inks exceeds 1,5 mln $.
