 1. Lomond laminating film: 54mm*86mm, 80 micron, mat, 50 sheets (25 packages). Glossy laminating of printed products protects them from dirtying and ageing and provides the surface with brilliance. This makes all colors brighter and saturated. The film is also highly transparent, absolutely flat and has a low fusion temperature. Laminating films protect documents, polygraphic and advertising products from humidity, oil, dirtying, ultraviolet radiation, and mechanical damages. The life expectancy of laminated products is much longer than of those made on paper without any protective layers. There are the following types of the laminating film: mat, semi mat, glossy or textured. Glossy film makes colors more natural and bright. Matt film can lower the contrast and soften the colors. Textured film adds relief and various textures to the image surface. Tips: dimness of the laminated “products” means that the film was not warmed enough by the laminator. It is recommended to “press” the document once more. To continue the work, lessen the speed, increase the laminating temperature or use less thick film. Air bubbles are the result of weak tension at one of the axles of the laminators thus it should be readjust. To use the “spoiled” document, it is necessary to pierce the bubbles with a thin needle and then laminate it again.
