Different kinds of Lomond Polyester Films are used for printing overhead projection transparencies and seeing through overlays, line artworks and colour-separated images. Self-adhesive films are used for making labels, decals, stickers etc. Polyester or polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is a widely known synthetic material. The films made of it are highly dense, strong and durable, waterproof, curling resistant, also have a very smooth surface. Polyester Films withstand high temperature without melting and therefore are suitable for high heat copiers and laser-jet printers. The films do not jam, melt, or stretch. Depending on the type of a coating PET Films provide high toner adhesion (laser-jet and copier films) or ink absorption (ink-jet films) or both (universal films). All the Lomond PET Films are antistatic and thermo stabilized. Most of the Lomond PET Films are supplied at 100 microns thickness. The films of 125 microns thickness are recommended for high heat copiers and laser-jet printers.
